About TCPDG

We are a group of people who believe that ethical, loving relationships need not be monogamous. We meet several times a month in various venues, such as discussion meetings, coffee-shop socials, house parties, dinner outings, movie nights, etc.

We also utilize a list server to keep in touch with our community on-line. To join, you can use the form to the left. You will be asked to participate in a short telephone interview, or to attend an event before your subscription will be completed.

This group is diverse and open-minded and membership will not be limited by age, accessibility issues, gender, choice of kink, religion, color, sexual orientation, race, cultural designation or planet of origin....GLBT friendly. This group also welcomes those with interest in Intentional Community (a.k.a. Communes), co-op living, polyamory and polyfidelity, all of which have in common issues relating to relationships, interrelating and conflict resolution.

TCPDG Mission Statement:

We define Polyamory as the honest, non-possessive, responsible, and ethical philosophy and practice of experiencing and encouraging all levels of love - including affectionate, romantic, or sexual love - with multiple people, concurrently (a.k.a. “ethical” or “intentional non-monogamy”). Polyamory also supports and encourages the building of committed friendships, “chosen” families (non-blood-related), extended families (both blood- and non-blood-related), polyfidelitous families (“group marriage”), and related intentional/alternative communities.

With that in mind, the purposes of the group are as follows:

Maybe you are asking yourself how you too can become a member of the Twin Cities Polyamory Discussion group. Well, it's fairly easy. You will need to first apply to our mailing list.
